OK let's try Discord for 30 days then chat. It is set up and is Bad Karma not BK Veterans Society. I investigated and both Discord and Teamspeak allow and have channels to be set up for political speach so just don't go there and you won't have to see it. Also both collect information on use but swear they don't sell it. Of course TS is still up but let's please keep an open mind and use Discord. I'll set a meeting for about 30 days from now. Also, please invite family and friends but make sure they understand our rule - which are posted in Discord as # rules.

I will be staying with TeamSpeak. While Discord does not sell personal data they collect it and share it with third parties for marking of products/services and payment processing. As I understand TeamSpeak runs on noncentralized servers and the only the admin of a server has access to any user data, I believe both platforms have file sharing and it is turned off on our TeamSpeak but, I do not want to be part of any file sharing server.

Thanks again Karow, All: Here is the link I think easily and best describes the Discord data info, all part of the evaluation data gathering.:

Yes, Discord does share personal information, primarily in response to legal requests, but also for business purposes like using data to operate the service and to monitor for violations of their terms. While Discord states it doesn't sell user data and has privacy settings to control who can interact with you, it may share data with third parties for targeted advertising, and private communications are not end-to-end encrypted.
How and why Discord shares data
Legal requirements: Discord will disclose user data in response to valid legal requests, such as warrants or subpoenas. This is a standard practice for online services to comply with the law.
Business operations: The company uses collected information to provide and improve its services, which includes monitoring for and taking action against violations of its terms of service. This can involve analyzing content and messages to detect fraud, malware, or other harmful activity.
Targeted advertising: To deliver relevant sponsored content, Discord may combine the data it collects with information from other businesses. This is considered processing data for targeted advertising under certain state laws, though Discord states it does not "sell" personal information as defined by laws like the CCPA.
Third-party integrations: When you use third-party apps or bots on Discord, these integrations may collect your data. Discord states that it requires third-party integrations to play by the same rules and adhere to privacy standards.
Risks to be aware of
No end-to-end encryption: Text chats on Discord are not end-to-end encrypted, meaning the company has access to them. Voice calls are encrypted in transit, but this doesn't protect against access to the raw data.
Public information: Some information you share can be publicly visible depending on your settings and what you post on public servers. For example, public server messages, usernames, and avatars are collected and used to improve automated systems.
Moderator access: Server moderators may have access to a significant amount of data through bots and other moderation tools, including logs of user activity.
Malicious actors: Other users, including scammers and malicious actors, can use platform features to try and find your information or coerce you into sharing it.
